Five months after its launch in Lyon, E+Share Drivalia further expands its reach, in the name of a sustainable, smart and accessible urban mobility. The electric car sharing of Drivalia, the rental and mobility company of CA Auto Bank, part of the Crédit Agricole Group, enlarged its coverage scope announcing a new agreement with the Lyon – Saint Exupéry Airport, as well as the signature of new partnerships.
Starting from today, the electric 500s from the E+Share fleet will connect the Lyon city to the airport, providing travellers with a convenient and environmentally friendly mobility solution. This approach, consistent with Crédit Agricole’s commitment towards a sustainable mobility in France, aligns perfectly with Lyon airport’s desire to decarbonize its activity and promote sustainable tourism.
As in the covered areas of the Lyon Metropolis, travellers using E+Share Drivalia can benefit from free parking in the P4 car park, closest to the TGV station and the airport terminals. Which provides a convenient, comfortable and economical experience, eliminating parking fees during their stay as well as the time spent searching for an available space.
E+Share Drivalia offers competitive prices, with the possibility of going to the airport starting from €15.99 or take advantage of a daily rental from €69.99 with unlimited mileage. On the occasion of this launch, E+Share Drivalia is offering 30 minutes for free for all new subscribers in France.
“We are delighted to inaugurate our car sharing service at Lyon Airport, offering travellers a new and sustainable way to reach the airport and discover the beauty of the region, whether for tourism or business” said Pasquale Piccolino, Country manager of Drivalia France. “We look forward to welcoming travellers and supporting them during their travels to, and from, Lyon”.
Lionel Lassagne, Director of Sustainable Development at Lyon Airport, said: “This new partnership will facilitate our passengers’ journeys by further expanding the choice of solutions for accessing the airport. It is also fully in line with Lyon Airport’s commitment to reduce CO2 emissions from indirect activities, including the access to the airport”.
The agreement with the Lyon Airport is not the only step in E+Share’s development path in the capital of Gaul. On March 1st the Drivalia’s car sharing has been extended to the municipality of Bron. The car-sharing service is also available at the headquarters of the Crédit Agricole Centre-Est regional bank in Champagne au Mont-D’or.
The E+Share Drivalia team, which also obtained the Only Lyon 2024 label, is working to develop its coverage areas by creating partnerships with tourism and leisure players such as OnlyKart, the largest indoor 100% electric karting circuit in Auvergne Rhône Alpes, 20 minutes from Lyon. To celebrate this launch, Drivalia is setting up a commercial offer with 30 minutes of free car sharing as well as the OnlyKart membership card offered for the first users to go to the circuit.
Drivalia will very soon unveil new partnerships with Lyon’s cultural stakeholders as well as those in the tourism and leisure sector to meet the needs of high expectations of Lyon city dwellers. E+Share will participate on March 27 in Lyon in the national car sharing day organized by the Métropole de Lyon and the Association of Carsharing Actors.
